Sonia Menti illustrates for Advertising Agency Live & Breath in UK
Live & Breath advertising agency were commissioned by St Stephen’s Shopping Centre to create an advertising campaign that would showcase the centre as a shining light and leading the way in the regions major regeneration scheme. The campaign needed to deliver an edgy, youthful, modern and urban feel to it. The campaign of ‘Ride the Wave’ was to help echo the feeling of the people of Hull, everything in and around the area are riding high on the crest of a wave and they used this to their advantage. To drive impact the campaign idea would see giant characters riding the wave (roof) of Stephen’s we would use juxtaposition of iconic photography and stylized illustration. They felt the illustration style would capture the hearts and minds of their target audience a style that they would identify with. For this project they chose our artist Sonia Menti to illustrate this wonderful project.
