| Maria Dimas studed at B.A. Hons., and M.A. by project degree holder from Portsmouth University School of Art Design and Media. While living 8years in the UK, participated in numerous group exhibitions as part of academic endeavor and exposure. Countless commissions for commercial storyboards with TV production companies in Athens. Designed comic strip for Greek mainstream magazine for 2,5years. Twice resident artist in group Open Studio project ‘Carte Blanche’, in Athens. Collaboration with Greek film director Giannis Smaragdis on storyboarding his long feature film ‘El Greco’. Short film storyboarding for Greek director Th. Sarandos on two occasions ‘En Lefko’, and ‘Maria’. Lives and works in Kefalonia, off Greek west coast. |
